Hi everyone, my name is Sean. I was born with cerebral palsy and need a life changing operation in the United States.

ABOUT ME
My name is Sean and I have cerebral palsy but that does not define me. I am just like any other little boys except I don't walk. I am the youngest of three children. My older sisters are Hannah and Rebecca. I am seven and a half years old. I have a special dog named Diesel who helps me and who can do lots of tricks. I go to the same school as my big sisters. I have many friends and we love to play games but I can't join in all of them because I can't walk, I can't run, I can't climb. If you want to know more about me in general, click HERE.
I was born at about 7pm on Saturday the 28th of August 2010. I don't remember much about that day, as it was a long, tough day. When I was born, I suffered an hypoxic ischemic assault and bradycardia, meaning that I had a stroke, suffered oxygen loss and even had a heart attack. I had to be resuscitated for about 20 minutes after I was delivered. As a result, I have cerebral palsy. We are fundraising for a life changing operation in the USA to help me live a more independent life. If you want to know more about my CP story, click HERE.
Soon after I was born the doctors said that I have cerebral palsy or CP. It affects my legs, mostly, but I also have some difficulties seeing things and sometimes I have little seizures. I have already had operations on my eyes and feet which have made things better. I use a walker and wheelchair for getting around. I do lots of different therapies every day and take medication to help me grow. I want to join in more with my friends and this is the reason why my parents are trying to raise $70,000 for an operation in the USA. FUNDRAISING
In 2018, we are fundraising so that I can get a surgery in the USA. This operation will permit me to walk without any aid. It is called SPML (more about SPML HERE) and a few of my friends of have CP have gone to get this operation already and it has changed their life. I hope it will change my life too! I am just a pretty normal, happy, funny 7 year old and I have big dreams. One of them is to walk all by myself. WILL YOU WALK WITH ME? DONATE HERE

2014 FUNDRAISING: In 2014, a fundraising campaign was launched for Sean to get an assistance dog, a Smart Pup. We raised enough funds and a couple of years later, we received the beautiful Diesel, a black labrador with a heart of gold. See the story and pictures HERE.
